Quimby is a fake Teddy but he still has a Massachusetts
accent, thus [by the power invested in me by profound
paranoia] I figure they must be pointing at the town
famously founded by Jebediah Pynchon, uh, I mean
William Slothrop, I mean. . . .

far is the back cover blurb for "The Harpooned Heart."
