B-b-b-b but I did open the links! And so the connection is, as I
suspected and wanted you to confirm, is that Pynchon is funny in that
piece, and obviously aware of popular culture, and therefore prolly
involved in "the planning stages" of The Simpsons... Okaaaaaaayy
yikes... Uh, wait, but also because of the following Mayorial
evidence

Hmmm. And see but every other character has a flat, totally non-New
England affect. Cletus the Slack-Jawed Yokel has a hick moan, even,
and the show has often intentionally and hilariously changed its
possible real-world geographical counterpart/antecedent. I just think
you are nuts here, is all. But at least you recognize the source of
it! (profound paranoi)
