No Country plausibility issues (spoilers!)

I also think this movie is good entertainment, and I guess that makes
me willing to look past the ridiculousness of the horror movie
character.  Though I am also very much inclined to side w/ David
Morris in his characterization of the Judge.  I guess he is the
Hannibal Lecter to Chiguhr's Jason Vorhees?  Seductive in his terror?

I don't know, the prose poetry and philosophical depth of Blood
Meridian are more than enough reason for me to look past any
weaknesses in Holden's characterization.  I don't come to that table
looking for ultra-realism, and so when I see an 8-foot tall hairless
albino walking encyclopedia participant in mass-murder, I think "very
cool," instead of, "cooome onnn!"
