okay, so would you start with Maxwell?  If you wanted to 
understand all this stuff - not in order to contribute to
hegemony & imperialism with realization of more weapons,
but just to understand?

even more deeply disturbing is a lack of fine distinction here:

1) if Iran sponsors terrorism in general, which is ongoing,
then isn't that even worse than being responsible for 7-11
er, 9-11 
(I don't hear that date repeated enough, so I
tend to forget)
 -- ie, 9-11-2001 is in the past and its
damage is already done 
(unless you count the ongoing depredations 
by the Blackwater/Halliburton coalition as an effect thereof)

but "terrorism in general" is a future threat too...

--- ie, I think we have a "liberal" shill, weakly arguing 
against Republican hate speech, as an inoculation or vaccine 
against refutations of hate-Iraq in general...

2) even more gapingly irrational - and yet, more widespread -
is the assumption that _Iran_ is the pariah state!
Can't people count?  How many civilians has the US killed
lately?  Who has bases all over the world? What country
has ever used the atomic bomb?  What country spawned the
evil geniuses who incorporated IG Farben?  What "freedom-
loving democracy" ousted the legitimate government of Iran
to install the Shah?

What rank hypocrisy!
