Or, collateral reading as possible insight.
   
  I am reading Eliade's The Sacred and The Profane 'cause somewhere I learned or otherwise convinced myself that Eliade is another deep Pynchon influence. 
   
  And in this section of AtD I am finihsing up hosting, there is relevancy, whether as collateral insight or as influence, only TRP knows fer sure...
   
  Couple things will get posted where they are relevant BUT here is a line from the book that
  might be SO RELEVANT to C of L49 that I have to share it:
   
  tS&P, p. 22..."the discovery or PROJECTION [my caps] of a fixed point---the center [of a sacred place]---is equivalent to the CREATION OF THE WORLD. [my caps]....
  "Shall I project a world?"---Oedipa Maas.
