I don't know about testing anyone's litmus, but I will say, I don't
fault people for aksig quiestions they seemingly, at any rate, might
have looked up answers to, 'cos (a) they might get OTHER answers as
well, perhaps even better ones; (2) we ALL get the answers then; and
(iii) we all hear the question as well ...

Ditto repostings, unwitting or otherwise, of, well, whatever.  Not
everybody might have caught something the first time 'round.  Not
everyone might have BEEN here the first (or sceond, or ...) time
'round ...

This reminds me ...
