What I'm getting from studying Booth's book, (Secret History) is that there
was a time, in the beginning, before all the epochs, when the sun and the
earth were one, seen as the perfect whole. Almost all of the myths and
religions describe man as being fractured, and left to toil while the gods
depart, represented by the sun and stars. We try to get them to visit us by
making cathedrals and shrines. We try to replace them with artifice. And
there's myths about the ending, when again we merge with the sun, something
we head towards when we burn ever brighter earthly plunders. This
distribution of light, light being bestowed and seized, us longing for it
and yet resisting it--seems to be the stuff in ATD in your 'The Big One'
posting last week. Persephone is another myth to read about in the Osiris
underworld legend.

Take 2:

A "Head?" You? Never!

Did the Kenosha Kid?

. . . .and all that age of gold/age of lead stuff. . . .

that's alchemical, right? I mean, what those alchemists
were really trying to do is get back to the golden age.
