KIt seems to be in the process of becoming a slave to some 
of his father's darker impulses. At first, the very notion
freaks Kit:

          "A 'nosedive'? that's insane Renzo, too much stress in 
          all the wrong places, the bracing would snap, control 
          surfaces couldn't take it. . . "

. . . .u.s.w. in a very German-engineered fashion, contemplating
the assemblage of variables as Kit plots revenge on Dally:

          "Don't suppose we could aim at the Cambio, could we?"

Kit's thinking of dive bombing Dally & Clive, out for revenge. This 
sort of crap will continue, it's in the blood—Just ask Prairie Wheeler.
