Irredentism a theme that crops up, as the response natives of colonized regions
come up with...
The irredentism of the magical boundless soul overcoming the narrowing
of choices
and the rationalization
but also suggesting another word "redemption" that crops up from the
same rhizome
as irredentist, and leads to thoughts of grace
and that ties in with Miles's exhortation - consider the vectors...
in fiction the actual words devoted to a character might correspond to
the lighted parts of the incendiary's path,
but the dark portions can be estimated using the "moral calculus"
and the whole arc, it may be suggested, is the inclusive general ecstatic
case of which suffering and misery is the false, limited colonization
-- the irredentist's resistance being an attempt of the true soul
to re-deem itself from the colonized status and reclaim the divine,
sacral experience
