That Blinking L.E.D.

Hey Robin- What's hatching? Humm, let me just hope those aren't pearly words of wisdom, otherwise I'm in deep shit.  That blinking L.E.D. is like a time indicator, which reminds me of another thing, that is that, when we're really young, we have the capacity to be very, very aware and then with each passing year and the accumulation of more and more intelligence(?), we in fact, become less of wisdom and more of  just accumulated ideas, which wind up adding up to less, than when we first were starting out.  Anyway, I like the idea of the shock, now that I could eagerly be awaiting.

That blinking L.E.D . . .

If you don't know by now
          Nobody's gonna tell you
If you don't know by now
The shock will probably kill you

Maybe a word or two as to why relevant,
          might be in order?

          Dave Monroe:

Cf. The Learned English Dog (a.k.a. Fang).
          Never hurts to consult the
OED(ipa Maas) whne it comes to Pynchon
          (ask Charles Hollander) ...

Pynchon's stuff always points in multiple directions, see
and as for dogs in Pynchon . . .
