My major expense is vintage vinyl, much of it from European dealers
(the British in particular have been raiding our formerly unwanted
soul records for decades, and are now ransoming them back to us).
Between eBay being a buyer's market these days and precipitously
falling exchange rates (pounds, euros), not having a car, a phone,
pets, kids (or, uh, companionship of any sort), and treating redeeming
valuable coupons as a competitive sport, I've got to be one of the few
people for whom the cost of living is going down ...
Me, I worry when i can't get at least a $2, if not a $1, beer
any/everywhere I go. And I tend to be drinking for free as often as
not anyway, so ...
