also the wedding question of Zoyd: "do you think love can save anyone?
 You do, don't you?"  - why is this a stupid question?
- because sure it can? (that's what I tend to think)
- because if you have to ask...?
- because Zoyd older and wiser has been taught that it can't?  and if
that's the case, then are we supposed to share or deplore the
cynicism?
