It's happened to most, if not all, of us at one time or another. The fact that it's an impersonal glitch doesn't make it any less (sob) painful. Glad you came back.

>Was it because I had sent to the P-list in Rich text instead of Plain text? I'm sorry for that. I'm using a Mac at home and I'm sending e-mails through Yahoo, so I hope this is in Plain text so I can at least start to repair the nearly catastrophic P-list severences.

>I resubscribed to the P-list (hopefully that's OK with everyone (I felt like I was just getting started on my P-list social relationships and discussions before I lost all connections)), so I missed out on some of the VL discussion, but I can surely go back to the archives - of which I've already done - to get back in the swing of things. Hopefully, ya'll still have me down for Chapters 10-11, if not I'm sure that's because I was indeed booted from the club and I will make myself scarce.

>I wonder if Pynchon was on this list, if he would send messages in Plain text or in Rich text. I'm sure it would be in Rich text first being a luddite and all. I wonder if he would have any sort of intelligent or thought-provoking remarks to make in the discussions on this list. I doubt it if he would have anything new to say that hasn't already been said.
