I don't think anybody gets "kicked off" this list. Who'd do it? I  
don't think it's managed that way.

Your emails look clean & plain to me. In fact, the digest is now  
amazingly clean of the all the formatting cruft. A beautiful thing...

What makes you think Pynchon's a luddite? Because of an article he  
wrote in 1984? My sense is that he's probably quite comfortable on the  
Internet.
