If memory serves, Wolfley doesn't deal with Brown's Nietzschean
aspects directly, not even the Dionysian/Apollonian dichotomy.
Which is not to say that ol' Friedrich wouldn't loom large in
that article too. (As he also does in any GR reading informed
by those head-on Nietzcheans, Deleuze and Guattari.)
The untoppable Pynchon Notes contains some pieces on TRP/FN. In
the current issue, which I don't have, there are Tom Schaub's
"Atonalism, Nietzsche and Gravity's Rainbow: Pynchon's Use of
German Music History and Culture" and Jim Neighbor's "Ilse/Lies:
Nietzsche and/in Pynchon".
