not that Cyprian didn't miss Y & R -- he starts missing them while
he's still with them...
in fact missing them separately and individually even before their
menage begins -
suffering when Y forbids him R, suffering when Y rubs it in as to the
difference in
priv level enjoyed by R as opposed to his own,
suffering when R's liberation from conventional sexuality is severely limited
to pitching, no catching, and his testing of those limits confirms
their existence;
probably suffering vis a vis his own limitations and scourging himself
inwardly too...
...like the Doges his best hope really is retirement into a religious retreat...
