In the old Scottish ballad Sir Patrick Spens[9], a sailor cautions:

"I saw the new moon late yestreen
With the old moon in her arm;
And if we go to sea, master,
I fear we'll come to harm."

The effect known as "the old Moon in the new Moon's arms" can often be seen when 
the Moon is a narrow crescent. Within the intensely bright crescent, a dim and 
mysterious view of the entire circular moon is seen. The effect is also known as 
earthshine because it is light from the Sun reflected off the Earth to the Moon 
and back that lights up the darker portion of the Moon.

My progress back and forth 3, and a 4th woman, are like through
the seven lighted phases. Natch, the 4th is the loony full moon.

The projector on the wall is probably a sun, and had the first
woman in the room. Natch, I'd finally hook up with a black lady,
whose buttocks is a new (dark) moon, also somewhat senior (crone).


The Full Moon is used to allegorize great concepts, such as Beauty, Magnetism, 
Magic, Wholeness, Centrality, Balance, Awakening, Opening, Madness, Intensity, 
and Love.

Diwali occurs on the new moon - a no-moon day - in fact the darkest day of the 
year which begins the lunar month, Karttika - usually Oct or Nov. The 
illuminations, fireworks and festivities are to signify the victory of divine 
forces over the dark powers. The legend is that on Diwali or Deepavali day 
triumphant Ram is said to have returned with Sita to Ayodhya, after 14 years of 
exile, having defeating Ravana - the king of Lanka.

	But these colors conflict with my spread of them in Rev:

Color: Primary Moon deity colors are white, red, or black, depending on Moon 
phase. The Hindu Goddess Kali and many European Triple Goddesses specifically 
used these colors to designate their various aspects: white - maiden; red - 
mother; black - crone.
