(very) belated ob/thought on recently completed Tungaska Shambala section

The Event "uncovered' the marketplace, the courtyards, the people simply livng together
  when it blew off the covering of the hidden city....(known as Shambala).
   
  And, the Airships' "cloak of invisibility'  were also lost......................
   
  on one level, simply a way by P. ,with one of his wide-encompassing metaphors---the T.Event as 20th Century Bombings at once---to say: the political tears the veils off of everything.....there is no more the 'simply living' , the simply personal, the everyday..........(all is political
  someone implies later)..???
