I like sorely neglected Norman Spinrad

a-and, Starhawk's Mercury Rising & 5th Sacred Thing were
molto moving for me while also very fun to read

also, on any given month you can usually find some good
writing in Analog, Asimov's and F&SF...

despite linking to it, I've never actually read Locus, but
it seems to also be good...
