This isn't an issue of man vs. woman or black vs. woman.  I would love to
have a worthy female leader come along.  Clinton is not it, she is
horrifying, frankly.  She would be willing to split the party to get the
nomination from what has been playing out so far.  She should have stepped
aside, at this point she is only helping the Republicans regardless of who
finally takes the nomination, she is proving herself to be more interested
in herself rather than anything else.  At this point whoever takes it has a
very hard road to travel.  McCain is sitting easy while they duke it out.  I
think Clinton will likely take it, frankly, though I would prefer Obama.

I do find that politics in the U.S. has become so reactionary and devoid of
substance that at this point I am more concerned with the mentality that the
President will spread to the rest of the nation.  We have lost a lot.  I
would like to be able to pretend to be proud, for a change - to have a
President who, regardless of what he does, is able to explain it in an
articulate manner and with dignity.  Even if I disagree.  I'm sick of
half-assed excuses stuttered out with a stupid grin.  I want good excuses
and a noble gaze.
