Conference (OVAC)[1] since 1947. It currently has some type of sports
program for grades 7-12. Also, St. Clairsville is a current member of the
Buckeye 8.

George Strager, Red Devil football coach George Strager[2] won the OVAC
Coach-Of-The-Year title twice, in '79 and again in '87. No St. Clairsville
coach has won the award since. Strager is also a member of the Ohio High
School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame (Inducted 1998).
