Oh, we just got to know that the trip won't come true in June. We'll try
to make it happen in mid-September instead. As it was just made public
here, I'm allowed to reveal that the planned gig(s) are connected to the
upcoming exhibition of Finnish art at P.S.1, "Arctic Hysteria".

It would've been grand to perform at the opening party, but now it seems
it'll be the closing party instead (around Sep 15). A gig at the original
MoMA (where I roamed w/ Chris and David back in '97) is in the works too.

Anyway, the project still contains elements of uncertainty, so you New
Yorkers might want to arrange a TRP gathering asap. IF the concert trip
materializes, you all are most welcome to see us. And I'd love to meet
as many p-listers as possible after the show.

P.S. Wonderful job, Bekah!

P.P.S. Anyone going to see McClint.., sorry, Ornette Coleman in Copenhagen
on July 8? My daughter & I had to cancel our trip to London as she was,
after a tough application process, selected as the representative of
Finland to the Camp Rising Sun Europe in Jutland, Denmark. (The CRS alumni
include Pete Seeger, Samuel Delany and Darren Aronofsky, so she seems to
be in good company.) I'll visit the eight-week camp in July, and have been
thinking of experiencing Ornette on my way there.
