sequel to C of Lot 49?

That's funny. I liked Underworld and did see it as Pynchonesque, except
COL49 is the one book that it did not remind me of. It's long, dense, and
filled with numerous characters (Sinatra, Hoover etc. instead of Mickey
Rooney) many in search of a mysterious iconic baseball or god knows what.
