I rented that myself based on the list mention;
it was cool.

I especially liked the scene where he opens up the coffin and
brings technology to bear...

yeah, I'm a pacifist but it's only a movie!

anyway, it in turn reminded me of the Neal Stephenson scene
with the 3 men in a boat with a rail gun...

and that in turn, of the GR scene where the NTA team brings
the printing press to bear, "...kill the Police Commissioner...and
somebody does..."

and that, of the ya-know-that-was-a-pretty-good-movie-even-though-it-was-
box-office-poison Reds (my sister dragged me to it) where John Reed sees
the Communists in Arabia calling for jihad...

which reminds me of how there's one scene where Warren Beatty
wrinkles his forehead so expressively it can only be called awesome...

and how his later movie _Town and Country_ also bombed
even though it was really good (imho)...
moving, funny, and a really sexy tattoo on Nastassia Kinski

imdb seems to indicate or pollicate or foreheadicate that he hasn't
done anything since....pity...

ah well, "excuse me, I have to go throw up"
(that would have been true a couple days ago but now just
a rhetorical ob-P reference)
