Er, help! - "South of the River"

János,
I'd guess that the 'or' is the clue here. He's picturing optional places
where such a cover might be photographed. I'm not a Londoner but I know that
'South of the river' is comparable in many minds to 'the East end'.
Hope this helps,
Peter

Subject: Er, help! - "South of the River"
In GR, page 742, describing The Fools' album cover, TRP writes, "near an old
rocket-bomb site, out in the East End, or South of the River".
Now the East End in London lies north of the Thames. Is this intentional
(and if so, why?), or an error which no-one noticed (maybe out of tact), or
am I wrong?
János
