At the same time, please allow me to note that the candidate
opened the floodgates with her "Pitbull with lipstick" self description.
Go with that one where you choose, the only contextual content
I can derive from that particular self-reference is canine female.
Her choice, not mine. If the lipsticked one sets the tone, who
are we to argue or to judge?

Of course this discussion is not very Pynchonian, but I do suspect
that futurism and Deleuze & Guattari have some bearing on this
particular case. Seeing her flaunting the use of military-grade
weaponry for "death from above" that destroys wolves and meese
gets me hot in the very worst ways. This is ariel bombardment in the
name of sports: "Let 'em eat mooseburgers!" Is it any wonder that so
many on the left are having reactions to the governor in a manner
disturbingly reminiscent of the campaign against Marie Antoinette ?

Seriously, this is the time to read Vineland. Either that, or a full
round of tubal detox for the entire p-list.
