Is Entropy Natural?

Biological systems (either individuals or whole biospheres) are not closed systems,
hence the second law of thermodynamics as recently posted is not applicable to them:

I eat;
The sun shines.

Hey, but what about silver halide crystals forming out of solution?
Wouldn't that seem to represent an increase of organization?
What corrects my simple misprison, that ++entropy == --organization?
