GO IN PEACE

im getting ready for sunday mass, suck up to jesus for an hour and see if i cant expiate my degradations of this week past. as a kid mass was the perfect mechanism for ruining a day off from school. my father took us all to church to show off his brood (moi one of 7) so in varing stages of #s we had to go to church, that is until adolescents, at which point we stopped going. but it wasn't just us, certainly a lot of others use the community event for the same  purposes, and of course without saying to convey their pure morality to the neighbors. i can remember the masses ranted in Latin and those were the best because you had not idea what they were going on about. And finally, the only three words i always understood and wanted to hear in church were, mass has ended, GO IN PEACE.
