Sferics...

Sure someone else has already commented on this, but it just occurred to me
that McClintic Sphere's name could also be intended to correspond w/
Sferics, which (according to Wikipedia, at least) is sometimes also spelled
"Spheric"--  cf. Ornette Coleman's 'dry-sounding' plastic horn & the weird
piping & whistling of EM interference...
