"spidery" - Word of the Day from the OED

I was bitten by a spider today (fortunately, no brown recluse in my neck of the woods, but unfortunately, no spidey power emerged); oddly, I'd been "researching" (i.e., looking at gross pictures on the internet) spider bites the day prior due to the sudden onslaught of funnel-spinning spiders in my basement ... perhaps spidey precog powers were already in place ...

Oh, wait ... the word was "spidery", not "spidey".
