George Lakoff vs. Sarah Palin

I attempted to post this at the Huffington Post and it was deleted. 
I've got a 15% failure rate with them, so I suppose I'm "Politically 
Incorrect", or as my Mom, veteran of hundreds of protests, arrests 
and direct actions puts it---"PF" to the max." Nonetheless we have 
to consider and reflect on Sarah Palin's remark that the only 
meaningful difference between a Hockey Mom and a Pit Bull is 
lipstick. If Miss Mooseburger of 1984 wants to describe herself 
as a female attack dog, so be it. If she chooses to be a self-described 
Bitch, that's her option. If we respond in kind as to the accuracy of that 
statement we cannot be charged with sexism. If we choose to extend 
the metaphor---all in the name of political satire mind you, in the spirit 
of Voltaire, Jonathan Swift and H. L. Mencken---then it's safe to say 
that if she comes at us, foaming at the mouth in a rigid, snarling, 
attack mode, then we are obligated to put her down if only out of 
concern for public health and safety.
