Afaik, my NYC hotel would have been on the Offenbachstrasse. Yet I don't
think there would've been such a street as Offenbach was Jewish. (Like
all Jewish composers, he was scorned by Wagner. Nietzsche, on the other
hand, adored Offenbach. I know there's the German town of Offenbach, but
the musical connection would have been too strong for the Nazis. And,
referring to the town, it would have been "Offenbacher Strasse" anyway,
wouldn't it... But I'm getting fussy now.)
