First 20 pages of AtD vs. GR:

"Oh, it starts so well. There's this league of boy adventurers, see, and they're flying around on their zeppelin and having adventures, and it's 1893 and they're at the Columbian Exposition in Chicago**. So far so good. For almost twenty pages straight there are no dream sequences, no giant snot-monsters, no sonnets."

Is AtD the counter-GR?  An inverted hyperbola (no, not hyperbole!) perhaps vs. gravity's dreaded parabolic-ballistic rainbow of death?  Awww...
