One bookseller says of IV:
"The 150,000 initial printing should be enough to keep Pynchon in
Pall Malls and sardines for another year or two."

I haven't seen this information anywhere else. Can anyone confirm
whether the number is correct - perhaps someone with a review copy/
press release? The stated print runs for AtD and M&D were 250,000
and 175,000 copies, respectively. Of course, actual print runs may
be entirely another matter, since it seems publishers are in the
habit of artificially inflating their print run announcements:
