It's his least best novel.  That being said, do note that, say,
Beethoven composed better and less better symphonies, The Beatles
recorded better and less better albums, u.s.w., et soforthiam.  I
doubt it'll move up in the rankings for me.  But the groups reads have
always given me greater/renewed respect for the novels, so ...

So maybe it'll close up the gap, at least ...

Meanwhile, it's the one I'm going to give a copy of to at least one
friend, so ...
