Enjoying The Dude

Agree absolutely. The Big Lebowski makes you feel warmly towards its creators. Pulp Fiction can be enjoyed, but does tend to leave you with a bit of a bad taste in the mouth. Tarantino is not a very pleasant-seeming person, wildly overrated, and unlikely ever to produce anything worthwhile again.

Plus the Coens have made several other very good films, and even their 'bad' films have very good parts: eg. Jennifer Jason Leigh's channeling of 'His Girl Friday' in 'The Hudsucker Proxy'.
