I've been poking around the usual web haunts but haven't found out too much. The author, ROger SImon, seems to have made teh classic 'more right-wing as you get older' political journey. 


"Simon himself experienced a political transformation in which he felt alienated from what he saw as the excesses of the Left after the realities of theSeptember 11, 2001 attacks affected him. He jokes, "I may be the first American writer who was profiled both by Mother Jones and National Review." He supports both same-gender marriage and the War on Terror, and contends that those issues are linked."

AllMOvie don't give the film a very good (or detailed) review, but I take David's recommendation to heart, and will keep lookikng for a downloadable source, maybe look on amazon, etc.
