Doc is probably 29. When he turns 30 he won't be able to hear the
15.750kw sweep of the TV, which makes him sad. I, however, am happy,
since I did a few online tests and discovered that I can still hear
above range.
Are there any references to Doc having ever surfed, in the novel? He
does cross the road to check out some longboards at a very odd moment.
