Can't Buy Me Beatles?

Yeah, some of the stuff on 'Love' sounded great. I just wished I could
unpick and unmash the tracks and listen to them as Jesus, er, I mean
John intended.

It would be interesting to sit down and listen to one of the new
stereo remasters back to back with teh corresponding Dr Ebbetts needle
drop. Will these remasters sound as good? Ebbetts himself is on record
as saying, yes.

I wold love to get the mono remasters, but the fact that the mono set
costs more than teh stereo set, even though it has less discs in it
and is missing some of the packaging from the stereo set, plus the
liner notes, is just too much to swallow. I'm gutted that I can't get,
say, just the White Album in mono on 09/09/09, I would have to but the
whole lot.
