I was merely paraphrasing "Alice", as "she" claimed that IV was crap.  
I assumed that everything else "she" would be writing on the subject  
would be coming from the same sort of spiritual & intellectual space.

To clarify—if your very first mention of the subject at hand is 100%  
dismissive, why bother to say anything more?
