What makes the Pynchon-L different from, arguably, ANY OTHER such author
reading/discussion group, near-religious allusion intended?

A self-organized,'so-I-digress?', free-form "conversation" open to ALL is one of Pynchon's deep themes, imho.

>From Lot 49 (at least) through AtD (at least) ya'll know that, I suggest.

Like the commune bickering in Vineland, like "the generations of family hatreds" [just an extended metaphor for we individuals] big and small"---IV; plus all of the positive ways we move discussion forward about certain books, one major author, and others.....GETTING SOMEWHERE........being smarter than we all are separately----my god, do I tweak my thinking after every bit of feedback----

This is a community. This is an ideal. This is life.
