I've had B12 shots. Because of the nature of factory farming and
industrial agriculture, you can't get it on a vegetarian diet these
days (used to be different). The body stores it for about 6-8 years or
so, though, so most vegetarians don't notice for a long time if
they're running low.

On the other hand, my Doc told me that Margaret Thatcher (not a vego
as far as I know) used to have a B12 shot before every major speech
she gave. Bit of a Tubeside-style pick me up.
