The late '70s - 80s were possibly the lowest point in TV history.  What can you say about a period where there was not one but two shows (Diffrent Strokes and Webster)about a white family adopting a growth-challenged black kid? But Pynchon's also pulled bad shows like Hawaii 5-0 from the '60s.  A Golden Turkey listing of TV shows.
