If 'ominous', then --- according to the Golden Dawn teaching that gets
mentioned in the book --- it is easy:
A> aleph (hebrew letter)> The Fool (tarot card).
The related element is Air (sic!).
Manifolded meanings of "The Fool" inside the novel as well as outside ...
