Okay, much going on offscreen here, but TRYING to get started on this, so ...

... so while I will likely be recycling much that I posted way back
whenever we last group read the novella, i'm going to try, at least,
in teh spirit of the abbreviated schedule here, not to mention that
afct that I'm running really late, to focus on what seem to me, at any
rate, to be key--or, at any rate, relevant,
revelatory--elements/themes/whatever along the way, rather than my
usual page by page, paragraph by paragraph, sentence by sentence,
sometimes word by word brute force annotations (which I'll inevitably
hyperlink to along the way anyway, so ...) ...

Meanwhile, of course, feel free to add in anything y'all think I might
have missed, or, at any rate, should have covered, U.s.w., et
soforthiam ...
