'nother tidbit of opinion on HJ in AtD (which contains everything)

About TRPs possible perspective on HJ, or HJ's Princess Casamassima, at least, the book Pugnax is reading early in AtD: That novel about anarchists gives Lindsay a chance to announce the concept of World Anarchism early in AtD, we know.

Pugnax, another of Pynchon's 'man's best friends', so close to man that dogs 'r us in many ways--certainly Pugnax is--- usually prefers "lurid thrillers about his own species", [canine?; homo sapiens? both, I say].....might be a sly bit of Pynchonian literary criticism, suggesting that Henry James, fictional master of much of man/woman and society, did NOT get anarchists, did not get their reasons for being and the consequent violence and death around them. Princess Casamassima is not lurid enough for its themes......which AtD is?-- along with so much else.

just sayin'....
