Inherent Vice

Good stuff, Dave. Please let us know if any of this works. I'm
waiting for alternate forms of appeal from the crazies on the list.
Perhaps a more sci-fi approach. Alternate forms of universal
consciousness making their particular planetary appeal to the dear
and only mildly Penguid ( in an endearing and metaphorically sublime
sense) folk at Penguin Publishers: I for one am forwarding the
following to the Publishers at Penguin as well as the P-listers in
hopes of inspiring a viral publishing revolution .

  Dear Penguin
In these uncertain times it is certainly understood among the
literary illuminati and publishitty that it is more important than
the average shoe-wearing person imagines to keep one's options open
as regard the extra- terrestrial question. Penguin has always been
one web ahead on this one. Actually, having personally received clear
and emphatic messages from epi-central Pomona, pirate, gold tooth ,
dog star radio concerning the future future of Inherent Vice, a fully
digitized expression of the vision of the fully digitally literate
and beloved, when not hated, author, and these are the "beings" who
really know, I feel it is nothing short of critical to the future of
the planet as one small note from a kind singular yellow canary in
the mine of virtual hope, that all of us, with only a few noteworthy
exceptions, implore, beg and demand the immediate release of IV,
or IV-drugs, or IV-feeding-tubes -for-Gods-sake to every vein and
capillary of the P-List. Do it now, before it's too late, and may
heaven help us all if you don't. By the way, for Penguin the future
as regards IV early release to P-listers can be summarized in a
single hypenated word. Ka-ching.

Yours respectfully and with all 7 tongues in all 3 cheeks
