> IV reviewed by the BBC's flagship art programme Newsnight Review:Thanks for that, I missed it. It's available on iplayer, I dunno if that's accessible outside the UK? If not why not, dammit!Worth watching, pretty laudatory of Pynchon in general, some good points made by the guests. The guy from The Nation places Benny Profane in COL49, but he redeems himself by pointing out the horror of seeing Henry Kissinger 'unarrested' at Wimbledon. One of teh epithets they threw at IV was "it's Pynchon after a week of rehab". They also included a few snippets of the book, essential viewing for anyone wanting to maximise their pre-publication exposure to the text.
