Pynchon Character Names

The book is good, carefully solid. The project was the author's thesis.
Therefore, he kept rigorous academic standards, arguing nuancedly for
meanings and associations. He kept out (most; maybe all) Kute Korrespondences, and informs of levels of waywardness of speculations, in his judgment.

He respects and gets Pynchon's work---one might say "loves" it discriminatingly, if that were not such an unacademic word.
