all I would add at least w/r/t to someone like Faulkner is compare the
Traverse brothers with the Compsons, Sutpens or the Snopes--I feel the
latter(s) are much more fleshed out
hmm...parallels b/w Caddy Compson and Lake (a Townes Van Zandt
colorada heroine if there ever was one)
